Sherbrooke, September 13, 2024 – The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has announced the complete closure of ramp 50 at the Darche Interchange, which connects the supermarket area to Highway 410 towards Boulevard Université. The closure will take place from Monday, September 16 at 6:00 a.m. until Wednesday, September 18 at 6:00 p.m.

This closure is necessary to carry out preparatory work for the paving of the ramp, scheduled for September 23.

To accommodate school traffic, a dedicated lane for buses serving Triolet High School and the Sherbrooke Transit System (STS) will be set up in the mornings from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Traffic will be managed by flaggers and monitored by police officers.

Outside of these hours, detour routes will be clearly marked with temporary signage. The recommended detour is via Route 112 West, then along Sauvé, Brodeur, and Léger Streets, and onto Boulevard Industriel to access the ramp to Highway 410 East.

Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly to avoid delays.

Have a great day,
