SHERBROOKE, April 21, 2026 – Following a short investigation triggered by tips from the public, the Sherbrooke Police Service (SPS) and the Régie de police de Memphrémagog moved in on a residence at 160 rue Ball last Wednesday.

The operation targeted a known location for drug sales and involved several specialized units, including the tactical group and forensic teams.

The Seizure

While the investigation began under provincial programs focused on illegal cannabis and tobacco, officers uncovered a wide range of criminal materials. The haul included:

Hard Drugs: 418 grams of cocaine and nearly 500 various pills.

Counterfeit Bills: $7,560 in fake $20, $50, and $100 notes.

Ammunition & Weapons: 9mm and 12-gauge rounds, plus a Glock-style pellet gun.

Vehicle Theft Gear: Specialized electronics, punches, and keys used for stealing cars.

Protecting the Community
These raids are part of the ACCES program, a partnership designed to hit criminal organizations where it hurts: their wallets. By targeting the underground economy, police aim to reduce drug accessibility for youth and reclaim tax revenue that would otherwise fund further crime.

Accusations to follow include:

Possession of controlled substances

Trafficking

Reporting Tips

The SPS is keeping the pressure on illegal sellers and growers. If you have information about drug trafficking or other crimes, you can help keep the community safe.
