LENNOXVILLE, July 2026 — Fever Fest returned to the Eastern Townships this weekend, bringing together local musicians, volunteers, and residents for a backyard fundraiser supporting three regional charities.
Hosted by John Mason Holder, known locally as Johnny Fever, the annual event featured live performances, food, silent auctions, and community activities, with all proceeds benefiting Moisson Estrie, Lennoxville Pet Connection, and the Alzheimer Society of Estrie.
Holder said the festival began more than a decade ago as a backyard band reunion before evolving into an annual charity event. Thanks to donations from local businesses, musicians, and volunteers, organizers are able to direct every dollar raised to the participating organizations.
Among the performers was Sherbrooke-area band Sardale, whose member Nick Roy said the festival provides an opportunity for local artists to connect with the community while supporting an important cause. Volunteers, including longtime grill master Corey Stone, also donated their time throughout the weekend, with food sales serving as one of the event’s primary fundraising efforts.
Organizers say they are on track to reach their $10,000 fundraising goal, with donations and silent auction bids continuing through the Fever Fest Facebook page. Residents can follow active updates on Johnny Fever’s facebook page for more information on fundraising totals and next year’s event.
