Sherbrooke, September 27, 2024 – Since August 8, approximately ten incidents of indecent acts have been reported to the police. These events occur at various times of the day in wooded areas along the bike path between Pacifique Street and the Frédérick-Paré Dam.

The suspect exposes his genitals to passing women and performs sexually suggestive gestures, without making physical contact, ensuring he is seen. Sherbrooke police, patrol officers, and bicycle police have conducted sporadic surveillance in the area to locate the suspect.

The criminal investigation division is now handling the case and is searching for a male suspect, aged 20-30, white, French-speaking (Québécois accent), dressed in black with a black hoodie, and his face concealed by either a black neck warmer or a white balaclava during the incidents.

Anyone witnessing suspicious behavior is encouraged to contact the Sherbrooke police at 819-821-5555 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-711-1800.
