EAST BURKE, Vermont, July 15, 2026 — Kingdom Trails, Burke Mountain Resort and several local businesses have launched Canadian Community Month, a month-long initiative aimed at welcoming Canadian visitors with discounts and an at-par currency exchange on select purchases.
Running through August 6, the campaign recognizes the longstanding contributions of Canadian visitors to Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom and encourages riders to visit the region during the summer season.
As part of the promotion, Canadian dollars will be accepted at par with U.S. currency for annual and day memberships purchased in person at the Kingdom Trails Welcome Center. Canadians who purchase an annual membership during the campaign will also receive a complimentary guest day membership. Current Canadian annual members who visit with a guest can also receive a complimentary day membership for that guest.
Burke Mountain Resort is also participating by accepting Canadian currency at par for lift tickets and bike park season passes with proof of Canadian residency. The resort is also offering 20 per cent discounts on lodging at the Burke Mountain Hotel and Transition bike rentals.
Additional offers are available through participating local businesses, including discounts on accommodations, restaurants, retail shops and other visitor experiences throughout the Northeast Kingdom.
According to Kingdom Trails, the initiative celebrates the strong relationship between the region and its Canadian visitors while supporting local tourism and businesses during the summer season.
More information about participating businesses and available offers can be found on the Kingdom Trails website.
