The preliminary results of the 2025 Sherbrooke municipal election were released Sunday evening by Election President Me Line Chabot, following the compilation of votes. The results will be officially confirmed on Monday, November 3, after the final count.
🏛️ Mayor’s Race
Voter turnout for the citywide election reached 45.08%, with 131,564 registered voters and 865 rejected ballots.
Results:
Marie-Claude Bibeau: 27,550 votes (46.45%) — Elected, majority of 10,019
Vincent Boutin: 17,531 votes (29.56%)
Guillaume Brien (Vision action Sherbrooke): 6,754 votes (11.39%)
Raïs Kibonge (Sherbrooke citoyen): 6,607 votes (11.14%)
