Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, October 8, 2024 – A group of John Abbott College students, including Joshua Bullard, is hosting a fundraiser at Restaurant Le Bienheureux in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue to support the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation’s kidney dialysis program. The event, scheduled for Wednesday evening, October 9, 2024 from 5 PM to 9 PM, promises food, music, and community spirit, with all proceeds going directly to the hospital’s dialysis department.
Joshua shared that the motivation behind the fundraiser comes from personal experiences, including the loss of his grandmother and a teammate’s family connection to dialysis treatment. These experiences inspired the students to give back to the community through an initiative that grew from a school project.
Attendees can look forward to a gourmet menu, soft music, and a 50/50 raffle, all while supporting a vital cause. The funds raised will help improve facilities, equipment, and patient care for the hospital’s dialysis program, which continues to see rising demand.
Joshua emphasized the importance of community involvement, stating, “This fundraiser shows we care for our neighbors, friends, and family members who rely on these critical services.”
Tickets are $19, and donations can also be made directly to the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation through their website.
