Denmark, March 6, 2026 – If you have been keeping your ears tuned to the dance floor, you know that DJ Justé is making serious waves in the electronic music scene. Originally from Lithuania and now based in Denmark, Justé has been carving out a unique space for herself since she started releasing music back in 2025.
We recently sat down with Justé to discuss her journey, the recent viral success of her track “Turn Off The Lights,” and what the future holds for this rising star.
The Power of Collaboration
When asked about her process, Justé emphasized that staying relevant in this industry often comes down to having the right team and the right chemistry.
“Jan is my manager, and we work, anyways, together,” Justé explained. “And Jackstyle—he’s another artist that Jan is managing as well.”
According to Justé, the collaboration was born out of Jackstyle’s vision. “Since it was his idea about to do this version of the song, he offered to do it together, to collaborate together, and I think it was a great idea.” For Justé, it was an easy choice: “Our music taste is really similar at this point, so it was really easy and good idea for us to collaborate on this.”
Honoring the Original, Defining a New Sound
“Turn Off The Lights” has been a massive viral sensation, and stepping into the shoes of a classic track is no small feat. Justé admitted that while it was exciting, it also came with a big responsibility.
“The original version already had viral history as you say, and meaning that already have emotional connection for people, some kind of connection, right?” she shared. “So we, we didn’t want to lose that feeling, but at the same time we wanted to bring it into today’s sound with more modern production and stronger club energy.”
For Justé, the process was about balancing the familiar with a fresh perspective: “It felt, our tool to take something familiar, but in my opinion we gave it a new life a bit.”
What’s Next?
So, what is on the horizon for Justé? “Right now, we are working on more songs, and some of them is going to be solo, some of them is going to be collaborations again,” she revealed.
Fans can expect to hear a stronger identity in her upcoming work as she hones in on her specific sound. “Now I feel much more sure about the genre and the energy I want to build around my name, so there are some exciting releases coming.”
