Sherbrooke, September 18, 2024 – Yesterday morning, the Criminal Investigations Division, supported by the intervention group and patrol officers, arrested a man for criminal negligence causing injury and a woman for complicity after the fact and failure to provide necessary care. Forensic technicians were also called to assist with two search warrants.

The investigation began at the end of August when detectives received information about a June incident involving the fabrication of a Molotov cocktail that resulted in injuries. The victim suffered facial burns and reportedly did not receive the necessary medical care following the event.

The 33-year-old man and 38-year-old woman were both questioned by investigators and appeared in court yesterday.
