Brigitte Roy, who has been with La Maison Aube-Lumière since 2018, explains that this organization has been providing crucial support and care to cancer patients in their final stages since 1997. They rely on community support to cover the 58% of their annual budget not funded by government subsidies, amounting to around $1.7 million.
