In connection with planned work on the main water conduit, which brings raw water from Lake Memphremagog to the J.-M.-Jeanson water treatment plant, we invite you to reduce your use of drinking water tomorrow, Tuesday August 20 at 7 a.m., until Wednesday August 21 7 a.m.

You can reduce your water use by taking the following actions :

  • limit the use of certain domestic appliances (dishwashers, washing machines, etc.);
  • avoid filling reservoirs, swimming pools and spas;
  • postpone watering if possible, while complying with municipal regulations on the use of drinking water outdoors;
  • practice good housekeeping practices every day to save drinking water.

Drinking water quality will not be affected in any way by the work being carried out upstream of the treatment plant. Consequently, no boil water advisory has been issued.
