EASTERN TOWNSHIPS, October 26th 2026 – Canadian hockey prospect Rosalie Tremblay is making strides internationally after earning a spot on Canada’s senior national team ahead of the upcoming championship in Denmark.

Speaking with Good Morning Townships, Tremblay described receiving the national team invitation as an exciting milestone in her developing career.

The former Stanstead College player, now competing with the University of Wisconsin Badgers, credits her collegiate environment for preparing her for international competition.

Tremblay has drawn comparisons to Canadian hockey legend Marie-Philip Poulin, whom she considers a major inspiration. However, she emphasized her determination to establish her own identity on the ice.

Training alongside experienced national team players has also taught her the importance of consistency, professionalism, and recovery.

Looking ahead, Tremblay hopes to continue winning NCAA championships with Wisconsin while developing her skills for future international opportunities.

Although the 2030 Winter Olympics remain a long-term ambition, Tremblay is focused on improving her game. For now, her priority remains simple: continue growing as an athlete and playing hockey for as long as possible.
