Mont-Orford Summer Food Truck Wednesdays Scale Up in Picturesque Eastern Townships Setting

Mont-Orford, August 7th 2026 – Every Wednesday throughout the summer, the base of Mount Orford becomes a gathering place for residents, tourists and local food vendors.

The weekly food truck event, running until August 26, offers visitors a variety of food options, live music and activities for families. According to Renault Tremblay, Director of Food and Beverage Services at Mount Orford, the event has grown significantly since its early days.

“What was two or three food trucks” has grown to around 10 vendors, Tremblay said. Vendors rotate each week, giving visitors different food choices and encouraging them to return throughout the summer.

The event also features singers, DJs and activities for children, making it a family-friendly evening.

Mrs. Dugas, a public relations representative who has worked at Mount Orford for about 10 years, said the event remains enjoyable regardless of the weather.

Local vendors also benefit from the gathering. One food truck operator, a retired teacher with 35 years of teaching experience, said the highlight is seeing customers enjoy the food and atmosphere.

The Wednesday gatherings continue to offer visitors an opportunity to eat, listen to music and connect with the community.
