Suspicious Fire in Sherbrooke’s Nations Sector

Sherbrooke, June 2, 2025 – Emergency services responded around 1:00 PM on Saturday to a fire in a residential unit located at 325 des Mille-Abeilles Street in the Nations sector of Sherbrooke.

Upon arrival, firefighters and police officers evacuated residents and took control of the situation. The Sherbrooke Fire Department was able to quickly contain the blaze, minimizing property damage.

The fire is currently being treated as suspicious, according to the Sherbrooke Police Service (SPS). Investigators, forensic technicians, and a fire inspector were deployed to the scene throughout the day to begin a formal investigation into the cause and circumstances of the fire.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact the SPS.
