Sherbrooke, December 14, 2024– Rosalie Tremblay, a rising hockey star from Sherbrooke, has earned her place on Team Canada’s U18 Women’s 2025 World Championship roster. Her journey to this milestone reflects her determination and strong support system, including her family, teammates, and coaches.
Tremblay, a standout player for the Stanstead College Spartans, described the excitement of achieving her goal of making Team Canada. “It feels amazing to wear the jersey and represent my country,” Tremblay said.
Her career highlights include winning a silver medal with Team Quebec at the 2023 National Championship alongside her sister Maxim. Tremblay credits her development to Stanstead College’s elite hockey program, which blends academics with rigorous training.
Last summer, Tremblay debuted for Team Canada in a three-game series against the United States, calling it a surreal experience. She now focuses on the upcoming World Championship in Finland, aiming to bring home gold.
Her advice to young athletes: “Set your goals, work hard, and believe in yourself. Anything is possible with effort.”
Stay tuned to CJMQ for updates as Tremblay represents Sherbrooke and Canada on the world stage.
