Sherbrooke, November 8, 2024 – The Memphrémagog Food Bank (BAM) is offering Christmas baskets to help individuals and families in need in the Memphrémagog area. This initiative, supported by various organizations, ensures that everyone can experience the joy of the holiday season. Volunteers will prepare and distribute these holiday baskets, making it a truly community-driven event.
Residents in need who meet the financial criteria can register now until November 21 at noon. To qualify, households must have an annual after-tax income below set thresholds (e.g., $20,333 for one person, $24,748 for two, etc.). Required documents include proof of income and custody of children (if applicable).
To apply, contact the Guichet d’accès à la première ligne (GAP) at 811 (option 3) or complete the online form via BAM’s Christmas Basket registration page: https://www.banquealimentaire.ca/en/services/christmas-baskets.
