Sherbrooke, June 15, 2025 – A police investigation is underway following a suspicious death and a critically injured man found overnight in Sherbrooke.
Around 2:00 a.m., emergency services were called to 336 Ball Street after a witness reported an injured person outside the residence. Upon arrival, police, firefighters, and paramedics discovered a 38-year-old man with severe injuries outside the home. While securing the premises, officers located a 32-year-old woman inside the residence who was also critically injured. Tragically, she succumbed to her injuries on the scene.
The man was transported to hospital where he remains in life-threatening condition.
The Sûreté du Québec has taken over the investigation, while Sherbrooke Police continue to secure the area and assist investigators. As part of the police operation, Parc Camirand, Parc Dufresne, and part of the rear parking lot of Centre Sherbrooke are currently closed to the public.
Ball Street is also closed between Alexandre Street and des Fusiliers Street, with police on-site redirecting traffic.
The investigation is ongoing.
