Sherbrooke, November 6, 2024 – The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has announced upcoming road repairs on the Saint-François Bridge, spanning the Saint-François River on Terrill Street in Sherbrooke.
Starting tomorrow, Thursday, November 7, at 9 a.m. until Friday, November 8, at 4 p.m., traffic will alternate on the bridge. Significant delays are expected, especially during peak hours.
The multifunctional path on the west side of the bridge will remain open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The timeline and traffic restrictions may change due to operational constraints or weather conditions. Motorists are encouraged to check Québec 511 for current and future traffic updates to help plan their trips.
The Ministry acknowledges the inconvenience caused by this partial restriction and urges drivers to respect all posted signage to ensure safety for both road users and workers.
The Ministry thanks road users for their cooperation.
