Eastern Townships Food Technology Featured in Artemis II Mission Joshua Bullard
SHERBROOKE, May 3rd, 2026 — The Sherbrooke Record is introducing a new publishing model that will change how readers across the Eastern Townships access their news, as the long-standing English-language newspaper adapts to evolving distribution challenges and reader habits.
After more than a century of daily print, the publication will shift toward a digital-first approach, while maintaining a weekly print edition. The change comes as the paper continues to serve a vast region where delivering newspapers has become increasingly difficult.
Sharon McCully of the Sherbrooke Record says the decision reflects several factors, including distribution challenges and changes affecting services like Canada Post. She says the new model will allow for regular online updates while consolidating print content into a larger weekly edition.
Readers can expect daily digital news and a more comprehensive Friday print edition featuring community coverage, columnists, and local content.
