LENNOXVILLE | June 7, 2025 — Residents of Lennoxville will gather under sunny skies to celebrate Friendship Day, a beloved annual tradition that will bring the community together through family-friendly activities, music, artisan markets, and local flavors.

Running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event will stretch across multiple community hubs, including the LES Grounds, Saint-Antoine School, Centennial Park, and the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre.

Highlights of the day will include inflatable games, a petting zoo, make-up artists, and circus animation by Feu Fyrolle, who will dazzle children and adults alike with giant bubbles and stilt performances.

At Saint-Antoine School, visitors will explore artisan booths, enjoy mini-train rides along Hunting Street, and climb outdoor climbing walls, weather permitting.

Over at Centennial Park, live music by Sidney Aulis will kick off the festivities, while vintage vehicle enthusiasts will admire an antique car exhibition hosted by Club AVASE in the nearby Uplands parking lot and on Speid Street.

Art lovers will flock to the Amédée-Beaudoin Community Hall for an exhibition by the Lennoxville Art Group, while shoppers will browse the Lennoxville Farmers’ Market in Queen Square.

Food will be in no short supply. Visitors will enjoy a wide range of treats including tacos from Streeat Tacos, Pop Kettle Corn, smoked meat sandwiches at the Curling Club, and a cake-and-ice cream social hosted by Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre from noon to 3 p.m.

The LES Participation Organization will provide snack tables at both LES and Saint-Antoine School, and Café Faro will bring warm drinks to the Saint-Antoine site.

CJMQ 88.9FM will be proud to be present, inviting attendees to take part in the listener survey and offering free Bingo cards for Tuesday’s upcoming radio bingo game.

With activities for all ages and a true sense of community, Friendship Day 2025 will once again be a joyful success, reminding all why Lennoxville continues to be one of the Eastern Townships’ most vibrant and welcoming neighborhoods.
