FOUND SAFE – Disappearance of Mathias Charafeddine – Public Appeal

Montréal, October 23, 2024 – The Sûreté du Québec is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Mathias Charafeddine, a 16-year-old from Shawinigan.

Mathias was last seen on October 23 around 11:00 AM in the Brook Street area of Drummondville. His family has expressed concerns for his health and safety.

Description:

• Height: 1.73 m (5’8″)
• Weight: 67 kg (150 lbs)
• Hair: Brown
• Eyes: Brown

He was reportedly wearing dark clothing and may be traveling on foot in the Drummondville or Montréal areas.

Anyone who sees Mathias Charafeddine is asked to contact 911 immediately. Additionally, any information that may help locate him can be shared confidentially with the Sûreté du Québec’s Criminal Information Centre at 1-800-659-4264.

Update October 24, 2024 – Mathias Charafeddine, 16, from Shawinigan, has been found safe in Drummondville. We thank everyone who contributed to the search.
