44-Year-Old Man Arrested in Sherbrooke for Attempted Murder and Domestic Violence

Sherbrooke, August 22 – On Thursday late morning, the Criminal Investigations Division, assisted by patrol officers, arrested a 44-year-old man for attempted murder, assault causing bodily harm, and mischief. A few days ago, the 19-year-old victim reported incidents of domestic violence that had occurred over the past few months to the patrol officers. Following the report, investigators took charge of the victim’s case. After meeting with the victim, the police were able to proceed with the suspect’s arrest.

The man was interviewed by investigators on Thursday afternoon. He is expected to appear in court later in the morning.
