Sherbrooke, September 27, 2024 – Police arrested two individuals for impaired driving between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.

Around 4:30 PM Thursday, emergency services responded to an accident at 945 Fédéral Street where a car crashed into a parked trailer. The 39-year-old driver was arrested after failing a breathalyzer test.

Later, around 11 PM, a driver was arrested near Bishop’s University after showing signs of erratic driving. He also failed a breathalyzer, blowing more than twice the legal limit. Both had their licenses suspended and vehicles seized.
